European Women’s Chess Championship
From May 25 to June 5, the 2026 European Women’s Chess Championship is being held in Batumi, Georgia.
After six rounds, the sole leader of the tournament is Ukrainian WFM Anastasiia Hnatyshyn, who has won all of her games.
There are 16 players from Armenia taking part in the tournament.
WGM Mariam Mkrtchyan has 4.5 points out of 6 and is among the leaders.
