Sergey Sklokin-Bagiyan fulfilled his first GM norm

13-year-old IM Sergey Sklokin-Bagiyan fulfilled his first GM norm at the "Vladimir Dvorkovich Memorial – Aktobe Open 2026" international chess tournament held in Aktobe, Kazakhstan.

Sergey, finishing the event undefeated, scored 6 points out of 9, took 9th place, and improved his rating by 25.4 points.

During the tournament, Sergey drew against GM Andrey Esipenko (2684 rating) and GM Daniil Dubov (2649 rating).
