From June 15 to 26, the 2026 FIDE World Youth Chess Championship is being held in Montesilvano, Italy.

After 2 rounds, the following Armenian players have scored 2 points:
FM Vache Hovakimyan — Boys U18
FM Tyhran Ambartsumian — Boys U14
CM Artem Mamikonyan — Boys U14
WFM Sona Krkyasharyan — Girls U16

In the next, 3rd round, Tyhran and Artem will face each other.

The third round will start on June 17 at 17:00 Armenian time.
