The FIDE World Cadets Cup has started

From June 16 to 27, the 2026 FIDE World Cadets Cup U8-U12 is taking place in Batumi, Georgia.

In the first round, the following Armenian players scored victories: Armen Vardanyan, Gevorg Aghoyan, Hamlet Harutyunyan, Manvel Vardanyan, Hakob Petrosyan, Mark Melkonyan, Arsen Bayramyan, Ruben Kaytsakyan, Mark Adamyan, Erik Tutkhalyan, Nare Isakhanyan, and Gayane Sarikyan.

The second round will start on June 17 at 15:00 Armenian time.
