In the 7th round, Davit, playing with the black pieces, defeated Montenegrin GM Luka Draskovic.

In the same group, CM Aren Mnatsakanyan has 4.5 points, CM Artem Mamikonyan and Hayk Maghakyan have 4 points, Tigran Soghomonyan has 2.5 points, while Avik Isakhanyan has 2 points.

In Group B, Gevorg Aghoyan has 4.5 points, Nare Isakhanyan has 4 points, and Gabriela Avakyan has 2.5 points.
