Davit Poghosyan fulfilled an IM norm

The "Montenegro Open – Mediterranean Championship 2026" has concluded in Budva, Montenegro.

In Group A, 14-year-old Davit Poghosyan scored 6 points out of 9 and fulfilled an IM norm. Davit also improved his rating by 183 points.

CM Artem Mamikonyan and Hayk Maghakyan scored 5 points. Artem improved his rating by 44 points, while Hayk gained 115 points.

CM Aren Mnatsakanyan scored 4.5 points and improved his rating by 57 points.

Avik Isakhanyan scored 3.5 points, while Tigran Soghomonyan scored 3 points.

In Group B, Nare Isakhanyan scored 5.5 points and improved her rating by 52 points.

Gevorg Aghoyan scored 5 points, while Gabriela Avakyan scored 3.5 points and improved her rating by 49 points.
