Armenian chess players are among the leaders

The 2026 European Junior U20 Chess Championship continues in Cetinje, Montenegro.

In the Open section, after 3 rounds, GM Emin Ohanyan, IM Aleks Sahakyan, and FM Rudolf Pashikyan have scored 2.5 points and share 2nd–8th place.

In the Girls section, WFM Polina Kobak and Angelina Mirakyan have scored 2.5 points and also share 2nd–8th place.

Round 4 will start on August 9 at 17:00 Armenian time.
