European Junior U20 Chess Championship

Armenian chess players are among the leaders at the 2026 European Junior U20 Chess Championship, currently taking place in Cetinje, Montenegro.

In the Open section, after 4 rounds, IM Aleks Sahakyan and GM Emin Ohanyan have 3.5 points and share 1st–3rd place.

In the Girls section, WFM Polina Kobak also has 3.5 points and shares 1st–2nd place.

Round 5 will start on August 10 at 17:00 Armenian time.
