Levon Aronian beat Hikaru Nakamura

GM Levon Aronian scored a victory over GM Hikaru Nakamura in the quarterfinals of the ongoing "Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Tour" tournament in Las Vegas.

In the semifinals, Aronian will face GM Arjun Erigaisi. GM Fabiano Caruana and GM Hans Moke Niemann will also battle it out for a spot in the final.

The first game of the semifinals will start on July 18 at 22:00 Armenian time.
