34th International Chess Open Tournament of Kavala 2025

The "34th International Chess Open Tournament of Kavala 2025" has concluded in Kavala, Greece.

In Group A, GM Emin Ohanyan scored 6.5 points out of 9 and took 5th place.

FM Manvel Arakelyan scored 6 points and took 1st place among the U14 players.

CM Tyhran Ambartsumian scored 5.5 points and fulfilled his first IM norm. Tyhran also improved his rating by 106.8 points.

Aren Mnatsakanyan scored 5 points and improved his rating by 98 points. With this result, Aren surpassed the 2200 rating threshold required for the CM title.

In Group B, Allen Hakobyan scored 6.5 points and improved his rating by 123.6 points.

Davit Melkonyan scored 5.5 points and took 1st place among the U10 players.

In Group C, Aramayis Avtandilyan scored 7 points and took 6th place.

In Group D, Ruben Gharagyozyan became the winner, scoring 7.5 points.
