FIDE World Chess Cup

GM Haik Martirosyan and GM Gabriel Sargissian have advanced to the second round of the 2025 FIDE World Chess Cup.

GM Haik Martirosyan defeated FM Satria Duta Cahaya from Indonesia with a score of 1.5:0.5.

GM Gabriel Sargissian won with a score of 1.5:0.5 against IM Ranindu Dilshan Liyanage from Sri Lanka.

GM Karen Grigoryan drew 1:1 with GM Ahmed Adly from Egypt. The winner will be determined tomorrow in tie-breaks.

GM Robert Hovhannisyan also finished 1:1 against FM Mohan Kavin from Malaysia. Their match will also be decided tomorrow in tie-breaks.

The tie-breaks will start on November 3 at 13:30 Armenian time.
