The Armenian Chess Federation Summarized the Results of 2025

The results of Armenian chess in 2025 were summarized yesterday at the Chess Academy of Armenia. The event was attended by the leadership of the Armenian Chess Federation, headed by President of the Federation Serzh Sargsyan.



Executive Director of the Federation Armen Gevorgyan presented special awards to the European U14 Vice-Champion Tyhran Ambartsumian and the European U18 Champion Vahe Sukiasyan.



Encouragement awards were also presented to their personal coach, GM Tigran Harutyunyan, as well as to the Head Coach of the Youth National Team, two-time Chess Olympiad Champion, GM Artashes Minasian. The European Championship prizewinners and their coach also received awards from Agasi Inants, a member of the Council of the Armenian Chess Federation.



During the event, the Federation also mentioned the names of our other representatives who distinguished themselves with successful play, wishing everyone new sporting achievements.
