We summarize the achievements of Armenian chess players in 2025
Vahe Sukiasyan became the European U18 Chess Champion.
Tyhran Ambartsumian became the European U14 Chess Vice-Champion.
Sargis Sargissyan became the champion of the World IPCA Individual Chess Championship. For this achievement, Sargis was recognized as Armenia’s Best Athlete with Disabilities.
Mher Sargsyan became the European Champion among chess players with a rating U2000.
Vache Hovakimyan became the European U16 Rapid Chess Champion.
Armen Vardanyan became the European U10 Blitz Chess Champion.
Manvel Arakelyan became the European U14 Blitz Chess Vice-Champion.
Valter Gyurjinyan became the Bronze Medalist at the European U16 Blitz Chess Championship.
Manvel Arakelyan became the Bronze Medalist at the European U14 Rapid Chess Championship.
Manvel Vardanyan became the Bronze Medalist at the European U8 Blitz Chess Championship.
Vahe Sukhiasyan, Erik Hakobyan, Benik Agasarov, Erik Gasparyan, and Aleks Sahakyan received the International Master title, while Mariam Mkrtchyan received the Women Grandmaster title.
