Armenian Youth and Girls Championship Semifinal Tournament

The Armenian Youth and Girls Championship Semifinal Tournament 2026, organized by the Armenian Chess Federation, continues at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

After 6 rounds, in the U8 Open Group, Mark Adamyan is the sole leader, who won all games. Davit Mitinyan has 5.5 points.

In the U10 Open Group, Samvel Movsisyan is the sole leader, who won all games. Davit Sargsyan has 5.5 points.

In the U12 Open Group, Gevorg Aghoyan leads with 5.5 points. Armen Vardanyan has 5 points.

In the U14 Open Group, Anri Hayrapetyan is the sole leader with 5.5 points. Angel Barseghyan, Artem Mamikonyan, and Henri Yenokyan have 5 points.

In the U16 Open Group, Vazgen Karakhanyan is the sole leader with 5 points.

In the U18 Open Group, Davit Baghdasaryan and Armen Ghazaryan share the lead with 4.5 points.

In the U8 Girls Group, Angela Markaryan and Gayane Sarikyan are the leaders with 5.5 points.

In the U10 Girls Group, Mane Mirakyan is the sole leader with 5.5 points. Tamara Stepanyan, Nelli Ghukasyan, and Hasmik Shmavonyan have 5 points.

In the U12 Girls Group, Ani Mangasaryan is the sole leader with 5.5 points. Arpi Balchunas and Ariana Chilingaryan have 5 points.

In the U14 Girls Group, Kristina Gharagyozyan is the sole leader with 5.5 points. Natali Afiyan and Syuzanna Aybekyan have 5 points.

In the U16 Girls Group, Nelli Dzhalalian is the sole leader, who won all games.

In the U18 Girls Group, Nare Hovakimyan and Emma Mkhitaryan are the leaders with 5.5 points.

Due to the small number of participants, the U18 Open and U16 Girls Groups will be played over 7 rounds. The other groups will be played over 9 rounds.
