Mariam Mkrtchyan fulfilled her second IM norm

WGM Mariam Mkrtchyan fulfilled her second IM norm at the 1st International Chess Open Les Menuires, held in France.

Mariam scored 6 points out of 9 and finished as the top female player in the tournament.

Armenian GM Emin Ohanyan also competed in the tournament, scoring 6.5 points, sharing 3rd–7th places and finishing 5th by tiebreaks.
