FIDE has awarded Tigran Harutyunyan a certificate of appreciation

FIDE awarded certificates of appreciation in the "FIDE Social Chess Award 2025" category to several notable Armenian chess coaches and figures. One of them is GM Tigran Harutyunyan.

Tigran Harutyunyan is a coach at the Chess Academy of Armenia, who has been actively engaged in coaching since 2021. His students have won multiple medals and achieved excellent results at various international tournaments, including the European Youth Championships in 2023 and 2024, as well as national competitions in Armenia.

The certificate was presented by Armen Gevorgyan, Executive Director of the Armenian Chess Federation, during a ceremony dedicated to International Chess Day.
