Armenian Chess Championships have concluded
The 86th Armenian Chess Championship and the 81st Armenian Women's Chess Championship have concluded at the Tigran Petrosyan Chess House-Sports School.
In the Open Championship, GM Manuel Petrosyan became the champion, scoring 6 points out of 9.
IM Artur Davtyan, GM Zaven Andriasian, and GM Aram Hakobyan scored 5.5 points.
Based on tie-breaks, IM Artur Davtyan became the silver medalist.
GM Zaven Andriasian became the bronze medalist.
In the Women's Championship, Anahit Mkrtchyan claimed the title with 6.5 points.
WFM Astghik Hakobyan became the silver medalist with 6 points.
Sona Krkyasharyan, Ani Avetisyan, and WFM Anna Khachatryan scored 5.5 points.
Based on tie-breaks, the bronze medal went to Sona Krkyasharyan.
GM Manuel Petrosyan and Anahit Mkrtchyan earned the right to represent the Armenian national team.
