The Round Robin Tournament dedicated to the memory of Tigran Nalbandyan has concluded

On January 24, the closing ceremony of the first Round Robin Tournament dedicated to the memory of Tigran Nalbandyan took place at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

The event was attended by family members and friends of Tigran Nalbandyan.

During the ceremony, the Vice-President of the Armenian Chess Federation, Smbat Lputian, posthumously awarded Tigran Nalbandyan the Tigran Petrosian Gold Medal, honoring his contribution and legacy in Armenian chess.

Here are the top three finishers after 9 rounds:
1st place: IM Aleks Sahakyan - 6.5 points
2nd place: FM Mikayel Manvelyan - 6 points
3rd place: FM Arshia Mohammadian - 6 points

The participants also received special prizes from ChessMood and Chessify.
